A warehouse in the Twin Cities metro had a deteriorating screw-down R-panel roof at end of service life. The owner needed a new roof, but couldn’t afford operational downtime — the building was in active use for material handling and storage.
We installed our metal-over-metal recover system: rigid framing across the existing panels, additional insulation, new decking, and a fresh 24-gauge standing seam roof rolled directly on the rooftop. The existing roof remained weatherproof throughout the install. The facility never paused operations.
For commercial buildings of this scale, onsite roll-forming on the rooftop is the only practical path. Lifting hundreds of long panels into place would have meant cranes, road closures, and weeks of disruption. Setting up the roll-former on the roof eliminated all of that.
