Faribault Barn Restoration — Collins Roofing project photo

Historic gambrel barns require specialized engineering to remain watertight. For this Faribault project, we installed a custom-radiused standing seam metal roof designed to follow the building's iconic curves. By using on-site roll forming, we created a seamless, maintenance-free shield that protects this agricultural landmark from Minnesota’s harsh snow and wind for decades.

By utilizing our advanced on-site roll forming technology, we created continuous, full-length panels that eliminate the horizontal seams and gap-prone areas found in standard roofing. This results in a seamless, maintenance-free shield that protects this agricultural landmark from Minnesota’s heavy snow loads and high winds for decades. It is a permanent solution that preserves both the structural integrity and the historic silhouette of the property.
